« The domain of Veillard was under the old regime,
property of the Fé family which was the subject of a study by Father Tricoire. In the first half of the eighteenth century, we
find, indeed, Elie-François Fé, qualified lord of Veillard, son of Jean Fé de Boisragon and Madeleine de Létoile.
Born in 1700, he became an officer in the regiment of the Queen Infantry and married in 1726, Marie Guillot. The latter brought him 10,000 pounds of dowry.
When they die, Veillard will return to their son, Elie François. On January 17, 1791, he was captain of the regiment of Rouergue-Infanterie and died single in 1804.
In the years 1830-1850, the domain of Veillard passed to Bonnin, family of merchants in spirits. Since then, he has remained in the hands of his descendants. The current residence dates from the
1830s. It was built by one of the members of the Bonnin family, master Masonic lodge as evidenced by some symbols engraved on the house and now missing. The building consists of a rectangular
dwelling with two wings in return. The main facade has a central bay, surmounted by a triangular pediment pierced by an oculus.
